Whipped Body Butter and Hot Weather

Our Whipped Body Butter is made using a blend of shea butter and gorgeously nourishing oils to provide intense hydration for your skin. The clean nature of our formula and the melting point of shea butter means that hot weather may impact the appearance of product you receive.

How might my body butter look different?

The main difference will be that if your body butter completely melted, it will no longer looked whipped and the volume will appear reduced. This is because the air bubbles incorporated during the whipping process will escape if melted. If your body butter is partially melted, it may take on a very soft texture, as well as some melting around the edges.

My body butter melted in transit. What do I do?

Please be assured that the performance of your body butter will not be impacted in any way.

If your body butter arrives in liquid form: Place it in the fridge to firm up. Once firm to touch, you may remove it from the fridge and use it in balm form. Alternatively, you can whip it up again yourself. Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.

If your body butter arrives partially melted/ soft whip: Place it in the fridge to regain it's firmness before use. Store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
